Central Mountain Airs B1900D, Reimagined for Executive Comfort

SMITHERS, BC, June 25, 2025 – Central Mountain Air (CMA) is proud to announce updates to one of its cornerstone aircraft, the Beechcraft 1900D, now enhanced with an executive seating configuration tailored for comfort, privacy, and performance.

Already recognized as the “Regional Commuter of the North,” the B1900D has been reimagined to meet the demands of executive and VIP travel. With a newly designed interior featuring custom executive seating, this upgrade delivers a premium in-flight experience without compromising the aircraft’s renowned performance.

The upgraded B1900D also features advanced five-bladed propellers, reducing cabin noise and providing a noticeably smoother ride. Passengers will continue to enjoy the aircraft’s signature stand-up cabin, offering ample space to move and work in comfort.

“We’re proud to introduce this elevated travel experience to our charter clients,” said Carrie Colville, Director of Charter Services at CMA, “This upgrade reflects our ongoing commitment to providing safe, reliable, and comfortable travel options across Canada while expanding the range of premium services we offer.”

With industry-leading reliability, all-weather capabilities, and exceptional range, the B1900D remains the gold standard for regional travel. The new configuration is perfect for executive groups, government officials, sports teams, and VIP charter needs, providing flexibility for both passenger and cargo flights.
