Central Mountain Air Expands Quebec Network with New Côte-Nord Destinations and Additional Daily Flights on the Lower North Shore
MONTREAL, QC, July 9, 2026 – Central Mountain Air (CMA) is pleased to announce the next phase of its scheduled service expansion in Quebec, introducing new destinations across Québec's Côte-Nord and adding more daily scheduled flights throughout the Lower North Shore as part of a phased rollout beginning July 20, 2026.
Beginning July 20, 2026, CMA will introduce scheduled service to Havre-Saint-Pierre, further expanding its growing network throughout Québec's Côte-Nord. Effective August 2, 2026, the airline will add scheduled service to Baie-Comeau and Port-Menier while increasing daily frequencies throughout the Lower North Shore. Together, these enhancements will provide customers with more travel options, greater flexibility, and easier travel throughout Québec's Côte-Nord and the Lower North Shore.
Building on the successful launch of CMA's scheduled passenger service in Quebec earlier this year, this expansion strengthens regional connectivity by improving access across Québec's Côte-Nord and the Lower North Shore for residents, businesses, patients travelling for medical care, government agencies, and visitors.
Once fully implemented, CMA's expanded network across Québec's Côte-Nord and the Lower North Shore will provide seamless scheduled air service between Montréal, Québec City, Baie-Comeau, Sept-Îles, Havre-Saint-Pierre, Port-Menier, Natashquan, La Romaine, Chevery, Tête-à-la-Baleine, La Tabatière, Saint-Augustin, and Blanc-Sablon.
“Our commitment has always been to provide safe, reliable air service to the communities that depend on aviation as an essential mode of transportation," said Douglas McCrea, President of Central Mountain Air. "The positive response we've received since launching scheduled service in Quebec has reinforced the importance of strong regional air service. We're proud to continue investing in Quebec by expanding a network that improves connectivity, supports regional growth, and helps strengthen the communities we serve.”
