Network Planning & Revenue Manager - Calgary, AB (YYC)

Central Mountain Air is proudly emerging as one of Canada’s leading regional airlines. As we continue to grow and strengthen our commercial strategy, we are seeking a strategic, analytical, and results-driven
professional to join our team as Network Planning & Revenue Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of our scheduled air service network. In this role, you will be entrusted with maximizing network profitability and performance through route planning, schedule optimization, revenue management, pricing strategy, forecasting, and commercial analysis. Working closely with operational and executive leadership teams, you will help drive sustainable growth, enhance customer connectivity, and support the long-term success of Central Mountain Air.

 Job Responsibilities

Network Planning & Route Development

  • Monitor route profitability and performance against budget.

  • Develop recommendations for route additions, reductions, and schedule changes.

  • Conduct market assessments and feasibility studies for new opportunities.

  • Develop annual and long-term network planning strategies.

  • Monitor competitor schedules, market share, and commercial activity.

Revenue Management & Pricing

  • Develop and maintain pricing strategies that maximize yield and profitability.

  • Montor load factors, booking curves, yields, and revenue performance.

  • Manage fare structures, inventory allocation, and promotional strategies.

  • Recommend tactical pricing actions based on market demand.

  • Analyze passenger booking behaviour and forecast future demand.

Commercial Analytics

  • Develop weekly and monthly commercial performance reports.

  • Produce route profitability dashboards and executive summaries.

  • Monitor revenue trends and identify emerging opportunities and risks.

  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities.

  • Develop KPI reporting and performance measurement frameworks.

Strategic Planning

  • Support fleet planning and aircraft deployment decisions.

  • Participate in strategic business planning initiatives.

  • Develop business cases and commercial recommendations for executive review.

  • Identify opportunities for operational and commercial improvement. 

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Aviation, Economics, Finance or a related discipline.

  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in airline revenue management, network planning or commercial analysis.

  • Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities.

  • Advanced Excel and business intelligence skills.

  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.

  • Experience in commercial aviation is strongly preferred.

  • Fluent (verbal and written) in French, considered an asset.
