About Us
Established in 1987, Central Mountain Air (CMA) is a western Canadian privately owned and operated company.
We are proud to offer scheduled and charter flights across a unique network connecting communities throughout British Columbia and Alberta. CMA operates a fleet of Beechcraft 1900Ds, Dornier 328s and De Havilland Dash 8 aircraft.
We employ a variety of staff throughout our network including pilots, flight attendants, flight dispatchers, maintenance engineers, crew schedulers, and technical, administrative, and ground support. Our headquarters are in Smithers, BC with operational facilities in Vancouver, Calgary, Prince George, and Smithers.

Our Services
Charters
We have been providing charter services since 1987 throughout BC and Alberta. We provide air transportation to a variety of corporations, individuals, government agencies, the oil and gas industry, and other industrial companies.
Scheduled Service
Central Mountain Air offers connecting clients the ability to make convenient same-airport terminal flight connections to regional, national and international destinations.
Interline
Central Mountain Air’s agreement with our interline partners – Air Canada and WestJet – allows passengers to take advantage of seamless travel through hub airports, offering through baggage and boarding passes to their final destination. For complete interline availability options from your community, or to book an interline ticket, passengers can contact their favorite travel agent.
Cargo
Central Mountain Air is pleased to offer selected cargo services to a majority of our route network destinations. We endeavor to provide our customers with a convenient and economical cargo product.
